Gentle Mindfulness Yoga Let Dawn guide you through gentle yoga moves that are perfect for all levels. Learn breathing and relaxation techniques to take off the mat and out into the real world. Enjoy some stretching and leave class feeling calm and rejuvenated! Dawn will then lead you through a gentle, slow flow yoga planned carefully to help the body and mind release tension. Modifications are offered during all classes so that new students as well as seasoned yogis or yoginis can benefit from this nurturing practice.Breathing techniques designed to alleviate stress both on and off the mat (in the real world, where let's face it most stress happens) will be taught and practiced.Classes will incorporate the principles of mediation and mindfulness. The goal of this class is that you feel relaxed, rejuvenated and centered when you leave class. Additionally these skills can often help you to manage situational stress/anxiety/tension as it occurs once you step off your mat and head back into the real world.Mindful Yoga and MeditationExtra long yoga class with Dawn designed to release tension through yoga and breath work. Updated days and times beginning January 1, 2025 Beginners Sessions Our beginners session includes basic game and safety instruction followed by free play.  We may include additional skills lessons on demand.  Open play with all players is expected.  We have a limited number of beginners badminton rackets to use during the session. Badminton is the second most popular sport in the world (next to soccer). We welcome all levels of players and offer beginners and advanced sessions. Updated days and times beginning January 1, 2025 Beginners Sessions Our beginners session includes basic game and safety instruction followed by free play.  We may include additional skills lessons on demand.  Open play with all players is expected.  We have a limited number of beginners badminton rackets to use during the session. Training for students includes individual skill work as well as an introduction to basic tactical knowledge of the game such as: footwork, body position, passing/receiving, individual defense, elimination skills, shooting and more.Grades 6-8Athletes will be learning more about individual positions and their role in team play. Philosophy:Music instruction provides the student an opportunity to learn and grow through self-expression, curiosity, and creativity.   Mission: To provide high quality, engaging music education in a safe and welcoming environment. Target Audience: Children 6 years old and up.  Adults welcome.Class Description: Each weekly lesson will be a 30-minute session of personalized piano instruction, with the goal of helping the student advance in musical note reading and piano performance techniques. Lessons will be appropriate for the student's age and ability. This is an on-going program in 6 week increments. If you would like to continue, you will be grandfathered into your time slot that you've signed up for. Additional Information:Assessment of student's ability will be done prior to first lesson via email. Students need to have access to a piano or keyboard (full size keys) at home for daily practice. PUPPY The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. The S.T.A.R. puppy program includes the following: basic puppy-raising information (jumping, house training, nipping...), basic obedience skills, how to better communicate and understand the language of dogs, and what is needed for responsible pet ownership. This program is designed for dogs less than 7 months in age who have not had any prior group experience.TWEENER Is your dog 7 months or older and never attended a basic obedience class? Then this is the group class for you! The Tweener class will cover all basic obedience skills (including how to infuse these skills as part of everyday life), how to better communicate with and understand the language of dogs, and what is needed for responsible pet ownership.*This is not a reactive dog class. Each dog needs to be privately evaluated by the instructor. Basic Obedience 1 Has your dog completed the prerequisite class of either the S.T.A.R. Puppy or Tweener Class and you're looking for the next level of training? Then this is the group class for you! The Basic Obedience 1 class takes the skills learned in the Star Puppy / Tweener Class to the next level. We revisit all the skills you have learned - increasing difficulty and reliability of performance. This fun class uses games which support teaching our dogs good manners while having fun at the same time!! Basic Obedience 2 If you have completed  the prerequisite class Basic Obedience 1 and want to start preparing for the Canine Good Citizen class - then this is the group for you. This class focuses on enhancing your leash work skills, how to increase your dog's ability to follow cues with various levels of distractions, as well as how to start getting more behavior for less rewards. You will also learn how to teach your dog to listen to cues from a distance rather than just right in front of you.Canine Good CitizenMust have graduated from Basic Obedience 2

Beginner Knitting Class- Come learn in a class designed just for you…a beginner!!  You will learn the basic stitches of knitting – the knit stitch and the purl stitch – as well as how to read a yarn label so you can buy yarn on your own after classes end, how to read a knitting pattern, and more!- 6 weekly classes, 1.5 hours each- All materials and supplies will be provided at the 1st class- Requirements: NoneAdvanced Beginner Knitting Class- Come learn in a class designed just for you…an advanced beginner!!- You will learn how to knit "in the round" using circular needles, how to knit cables, how to read a yarn label (if you don’t already know how to do this), how to read a knitting pattern, how to fix mistakes, and more!- 6 weekly classes, 1.5 hours each- Projects include your choice of 3 hat patterns and cable ear warmers - All materials and supplies will be provided at the 1st class- Requirements: This is NOT a beginner class!  You MUST KNOW the basic knit stitches -- the knit stitch and the purl stitch – all other stitches and techniques will be taught!Instructor: Andrea DenerInstructor Bio: My name is Andrea Dener and I call myself The Yarn Farmer because I love knitting and crocheting fun items inspired by the farm and food...like carrot scarves, pumpkin hats, and chicken coasters!I've been knitting and crocheting since I was 10 years old and love both crafts but LOVE TEACHING THEM EVEN MORE so I became certified to teach both by the Craft Yarn Council of America!I look forward to bringing out the 'inner knitter' and 'inner crocheter' in you!
