New Milford Parks and Recreation is proud to provide you with our activity registration system and website.
To get started please "Create an Account" with all your household information. The data provided (emergency contacts, medical information, etc.) will help us better serve you. This info will also be automatically placed into your registration forms.
When you’re ready to start registering for activities, be sure to review the "How to Register for an Activity" page.
Please be aware:
- All Fees, Account Credits, Gift certificates & Deposits (full or partial balance): non-refundable & cannot be credited, transferred or prorated, unless the program is cancelled by the New Milford Parks and Recreation Department.
- Credit/Debit Card Processing Fees: non-refundable (charged via third party - unrelated to program fees).
- Canceled Programs: fees will be credited to your account (refund requests required in writing or via email, include name/address to mail the refund check - requests after 30 days of program cancellation date will not be considered).
- Returned Checks: A $25 processing fee charged per check.
- Giving False Information: May result in your being asked to leave a program without refund or account credit.
For your convenience, we have a secure drop box located on the pole next to our front doors of the semi-circular driveway.

We are excited to welcome you back for the 2026 season! We’re pleased to announce that our season pass fees will remain the same as last year. Please review the details below to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the parks this summer. A season pass is good for both Lynn Deming Park and Addis Park.
Park Pass Information
Lynn Deming & Addis Park Season Pass
Available for purchase ONLY at Lynn Deming Park (134 Candlewood Lake Road North)
- Season Dates: May 23, 2026 – Sept. 7, 2026 (plus weekends in September)
- Hours: Mon – Sun, 7:30 am – 7:30 pm
- Payment: Cash, check, or Visa/MasterCard
Requirements:
- Residents Only: Season passes are for New Milford residents.
- Vehicle Presence: Passes are vehicle-specific and non-transferable; the vehicle must be present and registered in the applicant's name.
- Proof of Residency: You must provide two proofs of residency (e.g., driver's license, car registration, utility bill, or tax bill).
Season Pass Fees:
- General Vehicle: $65
- Senior (65+): $20 (Limit 1 per household)
- Military Veteran: $45 (Limit 1 discounted pass with DD214 or Military ID)
- Boat Ramp: $140 (Boat must be present with CT registration; vehicle pass sold separately)
Day Passes & Additional Vehicle Passes*
Available ONLY at the Parks & Rec Office (2 Pickett District Road). Not available at Lynn Deming.

- Resident Day Pass: $10 per person/day (Limit 4 per week)
- Non-Resident Day Pass: $30 per person/day

* Additional Vehicle Pass : $45 (Must be from the same household; same registration and residency requirements apply as season passes).
* Additional Vehicle Passes will ONLY be sold at the Parks & Rec office.
Please call the office to schedule an appointment, 860-355-6050, as we will need to check our system that a first pass has already been purchased, and then we will need to come outside to put the pass on your vehicle. An appointment is necessary so we have adequate staffing available to assist you.

SEGA Meadows/River Road Parking Passes
Only available from the
Mayor’s Office at 10 Main Street
from 9:00am – 5:00pm
Note: Parking passes only required May-October
A Sega Meadows/River Road Pass is required to park in the Sega Meadow parking lots and the pull offs along River Road. Passes are only for New Milford residents and residents of the bordering towns.
- If you had a pass last year, just stop by the Mayor’s Office during business hours to pick yours up.
- If you did not have a pass last year and are interested in receiving one this year, stop by the Mayor’s Office during business hours. Please Note: You will need to show your driver’s license and know your make, model and license plate number.

General Inclement Weather Policy
CLOSURES
If New Milford Schools are closed, Parks & Rec programs are not held.
DELAYS
If New Milford Schools have a 2 hour delay, Parks & Rec programs run on a 1 hour delay for programs held between 9 AM - 4 PM.
If New Milford Schools have a 2 hour delay and the program is held after 4 PM, it will run as scheduled unless cancelled by the instructor or Parks & Rec staff.
How We Communicate to Participants
Parks & Rec staff will send out a program cancellation email through our MyRec system to all registrants.
To receive our email blasts, you must be opted in.
You can opt in and/or change your opt-in setting through your MyRec account.

The mission of the New Milford Parks and Recreation Department is to provide quality leisure opportunities in a safe and healthy atmosphere and to enhance the quality of life of the community through the responsible management of parks, recreation activities and natural resources. To meet these ends, the Parks and Recreation Department attempts to provide safe and wholesome recreational services of both a passive and active nature. Our goal is to create a balance of activities, special events and programs for any and all segments of the population.
