Being with Grief - Workshop
A Gentle Workshop in Presence, Compassion & Connection
A two-hour experience of teaching, personal reflection, optional sharing, and guided meditation.
Sometimes we don’t need someone to tell us how to move forward. We need a little room to be where we are.
A place where we don’t have to pretend we’re okay. Where remembering is welcome, and so is not knowing what we feel. Where we can speak—or simply listen.
Being with Grief is an invitation to meet what you are carrying with a little less judgment and a little more compassion.
Whether you are grieving someone who has died, a relationship, a change in your life, or a future that no longer looks the way you imagined, this workshop offers time to pause and explore what care might look like for you now.
Created by Bill Gisclair-Sullivan, founder of The SVMT Method of Transformation, and facilitated by Jeanine Chayka, Affiliate Teacher and founder of Inspired Vibrations by JC, this experience brings together gentle teachings, mindful reflection, opportunities for connection, and guided meditation.
Together, we will explore the spiral and changing seasons of grief—not as stages you need to complete, but as images that invite a gentler understanding of your experience. We will practice the Three Sacred A’s—Awareness, Allowing, and Acceptance—and consider what it means to make room for memory, boundaries, support, and ourselves.
Acceptance here does not mean approving of what happened. And making room for something new does not require replacing someone or leaving your grief behind.
There is no expectation to tell your story, revisit painful memories, or feel a particular way. Sharing and meditation are optional. You may keep your eyes open, move, take a break, or simply listen.
You will receive a participant workbook with reflections and written take-home practices to revisit at your own pace. No previous meditation experience is needed, and this workshop is complete in itself.
We are not here to finish our grief.
We are here to practice meeting ourselves with grace.
